Next it was time to head to London to face Queens Park Rangers, where the boys turned in their best performance of the entire against QPR. The coaches were very impressed by the all around quality showed by the boys against QPR, and I'm sure QPR was impressed after the boys defeated them 4-2.
Sadly on Friday it was time to leave, as the boys had a little free time in the morning before heading to the airport. What an incredible last 8 days the boys have had, they've had 6 days of fixtures, 3 days of matches against very tough English competition, seen two professional games, and gone on excursions of Brighton, London, and Portsmouth. From a soccer perspective, the boys were incredible all trip. They not only held their own but were able to put together great performances to draw and beat some of the sides they faced in England. The boys were able to excel on the training ground, in the games, and still get a culturally immersive experience and make some awesome memories off of the pitch. Thank you for following along with our boys adventure over in England and make sure to join us in our next blog adventure when the seacoast boys from Concord head over to England on April 18th!
